Nice to see they changed Snake's look, he looked too similar to his Peace Walker incarnation in the older screens. But he looks fairly creepy in that screen above. Must be the eyes.
Overall, the graphics look more jagged than the PS2 version, but more detailed texture wise.
Know what would've been nicer? Not cutting the fucking content in the first place.
Exactly.
Or Vita?
Be happy you have the Consul Case at all. European owners get jack shit.
I remember Way Of The Samurai 3 getting low reviews, but it's fucking awesome, despite the terrible graphics.
They could make a Chicago-set game. And include trenchcoats, dammit.
Gameplay is what counts.
Obsidian also has a long history of buggy products, under different publishers.
I'd say the blame lies with both Obsidian and Bethesda, Obsidian because it's their game, and they have a long history of buggy pieces of shit, and Bethesda for their incredibly dated engine.
Big fucking surprise. Hire some testers, you fucking idiots.
Here's your answer.
Yes, he says that, and goes on to basically talk about graphics when criticizing the game, and one mention of RPG elements which sounds like complete bullshit.
Now, how about the actual gameplay? Sure, it was fairly buggy, with crap graphics, but I felt it was fun to play, and the dialogue system is the best in any game I've played so far.
Graphics whore.
Also, where'd you get that thing about negotiation affecting firearm skill? Have you even played the game?
Try Dragon Age Origins. 6 very distinct openings, and one thing I like is that minor characters in most playthroughs may turn out to be much more important in others, resulting in different relationships to your character.
Scarface game was surprisingly good, as well as the first Godfather game (sequel suck ass).
I'm a little more worried about things like my purchases being deleted than trophies.
My thoughts exactly.
He has a point on a few things, IMO. The emphasis on psyche and stress in MGS4 was annoying. One thing I loved about Peace Walker was the return to the MGS3 style of doing it, with a stamina bar that didn't require too much maintenance. Plus, the use of camouflage kinda diluted the stealth gameplay from MGS1 and 2. Staying out of sight was kinda left by the wayside in favour of crawling around in front of guards, keeping an eye on your camo index.
These are fucking bullshots. Neither game looked that stupidly pixellated.
